                      In the lecture , the professor is skeptical about the idea of the reading passage that three solutions are mentioned to save the Torreya. The professor argues that the solutions proposed in the reading passage are unconvincing.

                       

                      In the reading passage , one solution is scientists should establish the microclimate suitable for the Torreya’s growth. On the contrary , the professor mentions that helping the Torreya reestablish in its original habitat is unlikely to success. The professor claims that the coolest and dampest areas of the microclimate is strongly influenced by the many worldwide climate effects such as the global-warming.

                       

                      The professor then opposes the reading passage’s solutions that relocating Torreya is unrealistic. The professor states an example about the Black Locus which is a specie thrives quickly after entering the new habitat and endangers many scarce species.

                       

                      Finally , the professor disproves the reading passage’s solution that scientist should bring Torreya to the laboratory for protecting and improving the survival rate of it. The professor points that trees preserved in the research center cannot resist diseases in the long period. The professor again opposes the last solution which is mentioned in the reading passage

                      In the lecture, the professor is skeptical about the three ways to prevent the decline of Torreya in the reading. The professor argues that none of the solutions is satisfactory.

                       

                      In the reading passage, Torreya can be reestablished in the cool and wet microclimate in the

                      same location. On the contrary, the professor says that the microclimate has been affected by the climate change of the large region. Global warming lead to the increase of temperature in this region and wetlands throughout Florida have been drained. Therefore, the areas are becoming drier and are no longer suitable for Torreya to survive.

                       

                      The professor then opposes the reading‘s idea of moving Torreya to the further North area. The professor states that when another tree was moved to a new environment, it spread quickly and killed many endangered plants and trees. Therefore, assisted migration may have unpredicted outcomes for the new environment.

                       

                      Finally, the professor disproves the reading‘s idea that Torreya can be preserved in research

                      centers. The professor points out that when kept in the research center, Torreya trees cannot resist diseases. In order to survive diseases, the population of Torreya trees should be large and genetically diverse, which cannot be achieved in research centers.

                      第一段:閱讀中的觀點明確表達出來,但注意聽力中的用詞,在這里給大家強調的一點是:在寫作的過程中,可以運用聽力中的原詞,所以將第一段中的unconvicing詞的使用不是很準確。

                      第二段:聽力中反駁閱讀對應觀點的細節信息需要補充,會使得內容更充實,具體可以寫出word climate造成的cool and wet microclimate的結果,需要注意自己在聽聽力時所記的細節信息Global warming lead to the increase of temperature in this region and wetlands throughout Florida have been drained.

                      第三段:模板的使用錯誤,這塊的觀點是閱讀中的觀點,而不是聽力的反駁觀點,且注意閱讀中的觀點是:move T to the further North area,而學生所寫的閱讀和聽力的觀點完全對應不上,沒有達到官方評分標準的connecting.

                      第四段:The professor again opposes the last solution which is mentioned in the reading passage這句話很多余,注意文章內容和表達的 redundancy。

                       

                      總結:范文的使用作用:

                      1. 發現自己的寫作思路問題,表達的句子和句子之間是否達到了評分標準中的連貫性;

                      2. 是否有聽到聽力中的關鍵信息和細節信息,可能自己忽略了聽力中的相關信息;

                      3. 驗證自己所學習的寫作方法的運用是否到位;

                      4. 學習和總結句式的表達和詞匯的積累及運用。
